The landscape design at The Youth Hub in Ōtautahi - Christchurch is welcoming and accessible for all young people, during their time of need. Courtyards, terraces, and rooftop gardens soften the buildings, creating spaces that bring together recreation, socialising, and foster a sense of community.

At the heart of the hub is a planted courtyard where youth can gather to play, relax or forage from edible gardens. A covered and vibrantly coloured basketball court provides for physical fun and connects to a communal kitchen. Each housing unit has its own deck and garden to give a sense of seclusion and comfort.
